Overview
Background
Recruitment for a life-changing clinical trial.
1.8 billion people are living with hypertension (high blood pressure), the leading cause of cardiovascular disease and premature death worldwide. Only one in five have their hypertension under control, with many taking several medications with inadequate response. That is where this clinical trial study from Kardia-3 comes in.
This project aimed to create promotional materials covering the entire process of the Kardia-3 clinical trial, including outreach and recruitment before, during, and after the trial.
Concept
The concept centers around creating a welcoming, warm, and compelling experience for potential participants. The key visual features a bright and uplifting watercolor illustration of a path leading through a heart, symbolizing the journey of health and healing. Along the path, a diverse group of people walks together, representing the inclusive nature of the Kardia-3 clinical trial.
Through this visual and emotional appeal, the collateral conveys a message of shared purpose, where every participant's contribution matters in shaping the future of hypertension treatment.
Illustration and Icons
The watercolor illustration was used as a key visual and for framing text and imagery in a way that felt both artistic and approachable. The brush strokes were also integrated into iconography, giving commonly seen symbols a fresh, distinctive appearance that set this collateral suite apart.
